I remember in our last year in Morty Juniors, we finished runners-up in the cup. We played on the then Town Pitch at the Nook. Alan Durban and Nick Pickering presented the medals to us at school, it was brilliant. Must have been around 1982.

Then in the last year of seniors we won the cup again, 1987. We beat St. Josephs in the final and i got a goal, i was also joint top scorer for the competion with Paul Tinmouth who went on to sign proffesional for the Mag's, Boo Hiss!!!!

Anybody else have good memories???

I remember Duncan Turnbull getting hit full in the dial with a wooden brass edged discus and Ian Massey sticking the javalin in the crossbar above Mr Halls head.

Yes he was but strangely was a fine painter, oils not walls.
