fraid I'm old enough to remember it LT, tho forgot the name of the very english chap that was in it. He used to be on that funny 'guess the meaning of the word tv programme too', b u m that's going to annoy me now. Keep thinking Dennis Norden but it wasn't him, tho I think he was his good buddy. Hmmm- rambling now, shutting up!

That's the one JJ and that's the name of the programme that CJ was talking about.
He died in 1998 aged 78.
He and Dennis Norden were script writers for lots of TV comedy shows.
Dennis Norden is still going strong at the age of 85.

Bluekats

Was discovered by a band of nomadic Aborigines being brought up by a group of dingoes, he was a feral child at home in a hostile environment, for the first 7 years of his life he was barking, that was 40 years ago. The tribe took him in and brought him up as their own, his pale skin and ginger hair was of no consequence to these ancient and proud people.
Being brought up in the outback he was always close to nature and became an accomplished athlete, after all he was used to running a marathon each day just to get back to the tribal homelands for tea.
As he grew Bluekats showed that not only was he athletic, he also had a fine brain. Saving all their cents and after selling off their much loved pet crocodile the tribe managed to send Bluekats to agricultural college, where his keen interest in genetic engineering was kindled, he at last had a purpose in life, he would feed the World.
To this day Bluekats travels his beloved outback spreading the word, we can make it bigger and better, no longer does mankind need to starve genetic engineering is the answer to all mankind’s problems.
Power to your elbow Bluekats.
