Greetings from a newbie
On another vBulletin board I'm a member of, it's tradition for a newbie to get the drinks in... so the bar's open and I'm buying
Where's everyone from?
Who used to live in Shields but doesn't any more? Where are you now?
Who's still here?
Who's got family who used to live here but dunt any more?
There's a reason for my questions - all will become clear

Well, newshound, if none of them will take you up on your offer, you will have all the more left to get me something decent , now won't you. How's about a nice champagne and orange juice? That would do nicely, for starters.
I am not from sth Shields, don't know anyone there, have never stepped out of my own country, so why am I here? need you ask... we aussies can smell a free drink from a mile away.

Hi Newshound.....I like the piccy of your bike (that is your bike is it not?)
Ask Sherri why I like bikes hehehe
Anyway, I am joining in with Sherri for the freeby dwinkies, we'll be there shortly....perhaps on the next plane out from Melbourne in about 4 hours, and then another...say....24 hours flight to London, depending on the stopover....then how far to your place from London? Well, maybe give us a week then...you know, jet lag and all. A bit of duty free shopping, well actually, now it is no longer known as duty free.....more like GST free.
So.....another question.......do the English have a GST (good and services tax) ours in Australia is 10% and I do recall about 3 years ago in NewZealand, theirs was approx 12.5% GST

danet likes bikes because she and her hubby have a harley, a most magnificent restored Harley, and they recently gave me a ride (as passenger) on it. All round the countryside, past the vineyards and such. Very scenic it was, too.
We will tell you all about it newshound, when we lob in for our free drinks.
You a bike rider, newshound? I think of myself as the bikie chook these days.
Hey, danet, have you got our bikie pics yet? Are they fit enough for human observation?

Strong? LOL
If you don't button your coat that way then you've nowt to worry about I won't post the link, but you should get over to the other board I'm on which has more fights and bad language than you can shake a stick at. And it's busy too (currently... let's see... 183 are posting and browsing at the minute) so there's plenty of scope for 'strong' stuff
I'm in Shields town centre at the minute after moving here from Holder House, and yes, that's my bike outside my old house. As the weather gets better you might see me darting about here and there, although I don't often get down to Minchella's, so I'll more than likely be heading off to my mate's in Jarrow then off towards the Lakes.
Thanks for the welcome you lot. The bar's still fully-stocked so help yourself if I'm not around
