can anyone remember the pub that was in the middle of king street it was a small pub with a front room facing king st and small snug at the rear

what about the highlander on king street near the market place?
zip me up in my oilskins and jumper.
no more down the docks i'll be seen.
just tell me old shipmates.
i'm taking a trip mates.
and i'll see them on fiddler' green.

thanks siam sam thats the one moved to yorkshire in 1973 went back to shields for a couple of days early this year change so much still thinking are the changes good or is it a case of living in the past

Can remember going through a passageway between shops that brought you from King Street to next to the Mechanics.
