I'm starting the New Year in a bad vein, so here goes..........

Harry answers the telephone, and it's an Emergency Room doctor.
The doctor says, "Your wife was in a serious car accident, and I have bad news and good news. The bad news is she has lost all use of both arms and both legs, and will need help eating and going to the bathroom for the rest of her life."
Harry says, "My God. What's the good news?"
The doctor says, "I'm kidding. She's dead."

Hi Annie, Happy new year to you and all the other boardies here!
Annie, I am fine, apart from a little sunburn yesterday when i played mini golf, but I will live.
Am a bit disappointed at the moment as the power, for some mysterious reason, is off. I heard the main computer d*e, which was a worry, thought we had a major computer malfunction on our hands, so the fact it is just a power black out is the GOOD news. The BAD news is I am on battery power at the moment on this laptop,and only have about 15 minutes left, so I best get a wriggle on.

Hope you and your laptop made it !!!!!! We are getting ready for a big storm here in Laurel - well by American standards, back home in Weardale its nowt!!!!!

They think I am crazy with me wellies and me husky walking in the snow (they drive everywhere) I love it tho.
