Has anyone an interesting fact they would like to share with the sanddancers? For instance..

Did you know all the clocks for sale in a shop window are set to 10.10 or 1.50 to make them look friendlier (like the are smiling) and attract customers.

and Did you know hot water freezes quicker than cold water or that our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing.

If the clocks are operating-working they wont stay at that time and most digital are already going.
I did not know about the hot water.
Not true about our nose and ears continuing to grow they are made of cartilage which stretches
and as we age and as our skin lose muscletone and gives it the appearance of growing.
Twins eyes are always the same size-colour at birth.

Well, I tried a bit of research after your response and i agree I was sucked in to the "Did you know" stuff

I have sadly learned since that there is no such word as "gullible" in the dictionary

The technical-medical term for athletes feet. Before the inventions of anti fungal creams the treatment was a footbath of warm water with potassium permanganate crystals dissolved in it. The crystals make a pretty reddish purple colour but highly effective against tinea.
