Post by jimtheskim » Sat Mar 02, 2013 8:01 pm

hi, firstly i would like to introduce myself,my name is jimmy, i moved to south shields from oxfordshire in sep 2012 after visiting the area and absolutely loving it, i have a fiancee, sarah and two children, harvey (3 yrs in may) and jamie (23 weeks).
we dont really know anyone in the area and we are looking for places to make friends, but before all that we are going out on the tiles tonight and was wondering where the best places to go would be?
we live in harton by centenary avenue so anywhere friendly with a good vibe would be appriciated :D

Come to New Zealand for a good time and I will even show you photos of my leg. Not for children as they are. X rated.

If you really want a live time go to Harton Cemetery.

Why do you think this boards full of ex pat Geordies.

Coz we all wanted to get out.

Don't get me wrong I love Shields especially the road leading out of it.

Oh sorry I forgot my manners

Welcome Jim.

Shields isn't that bad when the suns shining and it's warm and everyone is in employment and the shops aren't boarded up.

Nice beaches for the kids. Used to swim in the sea in the summer at Trow Rocks.

Then got admitted to Hospital with hypothermia

Nice beaches though.

What brought you up to the North East was it work?
