Post by lexiekyra » Fri May 27, 2011 9:43 pm

Hi
Can any one please tell me if there is a metro station near the Premier Inn at Hobson Avenue, Newcastle Road in South Shields which will take me to the Stadium of Light in Sunderland for the Take That concert, and is it direct??
Thanks

There is a Metro station at Tyne Dock just up the road from the hotel but to get to sunderland by Metro you would have to get a train towards Newcastle and change at Heworth and get the train back to Sunderland.

There is also a Metro station on Wenlock Road (Simonside) which is closer but as brian said you will have to take the metro twoards newcastle and change at Heworth, alternatively go to Brockley Whins station and its direct to the stadium of light from there its about 1.3 miles to walk.
I voted leave
