Best pub in Shields these days to drink?
Used to always drink in the Lord Clyde unfortunately it's closed now... any suggestions? God knows why.
Went into Adam & Eve other week, it has not changed still rough but cheap beer.
One guy in the Lord Clyde all them years ago who I used to speak to he had a motorbike and was called Sean Clavery if anybody remembers him he used to be a punk, his brother Bill is a couple of years older and had a bike who also was a punk, remember seeing him on the buses quite a few years later... (don't know if either do now or what not) and then you had young Andre I remember him he used to have the fastest 125 the old Yamaha RD 125 LC in the 80s all of these lot belonged Harton Moor area myself I'm from Whitleas.

Not the Lord Clyde as well !!!.
Is nothing sacred. Nice to see the Chi is doing well.
Do all the smokers now go into the covered alley at the side for a smoke ?

Aye, Chi is expensive as oot like though! Bill Clavery will enjoy the alley more than anyone he is a chain smoker... I need to get intouch with these, I've tried facebook searching Sean Clavery/Bill Clavery can't find I've asked around and people say both still have bikes and Sean still goes on his racer and Bill has piled the weight on and is fat as oot now like, I wish someone on here remembers them.memor wrote:Not the Lord Clyde as well !!!.

You are a bit like me Pilot living in the past, it has been the Prince Edward for a couple of years now. Actually noticed it this afternoon when stuck at the traffic lights opposite it on Prince Edward Road this afternoon after a nostalgic drive around Marsden.Pilot wrote:Do you mean the Black Prince at the nook.

Yates is about the cheapest as well as Kirkpatricks. Yates have promo right now. Online and get flyer for free cheese burger and chips.
I just heard the Lord Clyde is being refurbished, but possibly to be a restaurant.
Yates buy a Bacon Sandwich and get free capuchino/Expreso etc 1.69
