The most disconcerting is an asian born and bred in Glasgow, my mind just can't cope with what I'm seeing and hearing.

Jordie accent is ajoy to listen to.

In Slovenia programmes from Tyne Tees television about Leek growing is top favourite.

Even Slovenians who can speak English not know what you talking elieve it or not Mike Neville big hit with ladies.

If he ever go there he get mobbed.

i love irish accents, also cockney can be funny. a guy from gloucester (sp?) at work has a hilarious accent too, but the office staff are from west brom which is possibly the most irritating accent i have ever heard, especially on a woman.

The worst has got to be the Birmingham accent---it really grates in your eardrums---the best has got to be GEORDIE :D :D

Personaly I think the pomy accent is quite amusing, sort of like a cross between chinese and a ventriliquist with his copulary gland caught in a vise, however it seems to amuse me after a few beers, quite a few that is.

I see furry is doing his bit towards international peace and harmony week.LOL
Personally, I like the variety of accents in the world. The only trouble is it is really embarrassing if someone is talking to you and you say pardon?, then second and third time round you still don't get it. I love to listen to the Scottish accent but I have a friend who is Scottish and her husband's accent can be really hard to understand at times.
What on earth is a scouse accent?

Weren't the Beatles from liverpool? They sounded sort of cute, from (distant) memory.
Although who did the Thomas the Tank engine voice? Was it Ringo Starr? He sounded okay to me, quite clear. Is that the scouse accent then? I don't mind it, if it is.

What's an anorak? I thought it was some sort of parka or coat?
I never watched much of Thomas the tank engine but my son used to like watching it years ago. It was like a Tv show, cartoonish.

An anorak is somebody who tends to do normal things in life and just be ordinary, I'll get shot to pieces over that one, and as for your son watching Thomas the tank engine it won't do him any harm like a lot of the weird kids programmes.
