Ok, This may be a silly question at this time of night. But does anyone know the price for putting a notice in the gazette. I suppose I could ring in the morning, but I want to know for the morning.

ouch...yes its for deaths...I was hoping about £30...how did they price it..was it for each word..etc or just bog standard box.

When I put the Obit in for my wife it only cost me £20.

I think I got a discount because the verse I wrote brought them to tears.

"You were always big and cuddly.

You always liked to eat.

Now your a dead one fatty.

It always brings a tear to my eyes thinking of the funeral and the twelve pall bearers trying to lift the coffin.

my friend has just put her daughters birthday memory in,,,£240...
its a big one with a photo ,but its a disgrace what they charge ....
