What excellent pics, CJ. =D> Looks like you have a very scenic drive
to work. Is it a long drive?
Jen, great to see you! It's been ages. I hope all is well with you
and the band.

Re: My Journey to work- pics
I can only see some of the photos-(my ISP has put me down to a lower speed because my kids have used up all the download) but what i can see looks very peaceful, very scenic.
It must be eerie in a way to travel roads you know were used by Romans so many hundreds of years ago. Do you ever wonder what they would think if they could come back, just for a short while, to see those spots? i wonder how much the countryside has changed. I know the towns would have of course, but i wonder if any spots along the way retain anything of the past about them.
I wonder what we are going to leave behind-what will people look at in 1000 years plus and say-yes, that was from some time around the 21st century.
I can see a horse, a cow and earlier i saw some white things on a road but the image isn't showing for me now. Were they goats or sheep. If sheep, they were very strange looking.

They are sheep Sherri and I suspect they look odd because they've been sheared.

Re: My Journey to work- pics
I only got to get a brief glimpse brian as the photo started to download and I pressed reply to the post and that was it-never have seen that shot again.
Aha got them. I still think their little faces looka bit different. What type of sheep are they? Their ears look a fraction longer and their fleece not quite as thick as the local sheep.
Having said that, I am from the suburbs, so I wouldn't really know. LOL

Same as me Sherri, all I know about sheep is that they are big white fluffy things that go BAAI am from the suburbs, so I wouldn't really know.

Sherri
The ewe's look like they are Border Leicester or cross and their lambs look like they may be sired by a Poll Dorset ram ... maybe.
Border Leicesters are the ones they used in the movie "Babe".

Gnads you haven't got Welsh or NZ blood in you as you seem to know a lot about sheep?

CJ. That looks like the road I used to take out to a friends farm in Bellingham?
