Very nice, tender, but you have to watch out for the bones, they have lots of small sharp bones.

am not all together happy with the cooking of the rabbit, for obvious reasons. Blue Wear, if the rabbit answers to Rodger, he's mine!! Give him back!! Please put photo up so I can identify him.

never actually had rabbit before, what is it like?

actualy it is lush
you have yo put some black pudding in the gravy though
and watch out for the little bones
i have one about once a month

During the rationing and food coupons of world war II days we always had plenty of fresh meat on our dinner table either wild duck, rabbit and trout for food. My Father went out shooting ducks and rabbits nearly every night and during the day went out catching trout using a detonator and a stick of gelignite.

All that talk of Rabbit has whetted my appetite, Mrs P has brought two in from the Butchers, one for the freezer and one for Rabbit casserole for dinner this evening. Mmmmmmm lovely.
