that's because The Clangers was a childrens programme and the sets were made from cardboard, string, polystyrene and glue
with the little wool puppets of course etc

It is interesting but you've got to ask yourself, what about the people who were on that flight? Were they just made up? How is this answered by the conspiracy theorists? I'm not critcising, i'd genuinely like to know.
