I think it is an interesting proposal as it makes people think. We take so much for granted. One adult one vote is a concept we have grown up with but that doesn't mean it is set in concrete. There is nothing wrong in lateral thinking. It is only 150 years ago, as the article in the paper said, that...

It is an interesting concept, isn't it? The voting age here is 18. I don't really think it could go much lower. I think the main reason for the concept being touted is so policies on health, education, child care etc would have more input from families. Probably most kids under 14 don't have a lot o...

When i first read it, i thought-what a ridiculous idea!! But when i read further down, I found myself becoming interested in the concept. For starters, it is not about 'giving children a vote'. It is about every person in the country counting as one vote, every person carrying weight, but parents vot...

These games are not my strong point. I was lucky to get it airborne most of the time, with a score of 2 being quite high. Often i got shredded in the fan or sort of swirled aimlessly into the first filing cabinet. I did have one heady moment when-not sure how-it took off and went out the windo...

When I read CJ's post i found myself agreeing-she made those productive ants sound so... so.. so.. attractive. But the reality is I am a really heartless person. If i see a little line of ants industriously making their way across my bench or my wall, out comes the insect spray and down goes the ant...

I think everyone is having trouble with the boards at the moment, pilot. I suppose the good news is at least it can't be our computers. I hate trying to get the 'submit' button to work. I usually have to push it a few times and then it tells me I can't make another post so soon!! Odd things happenin...

there was a part in the movie where this chic cut her leg open, I think, so she got these big bull ants and made them pinch into her skin to close the wound...she then cut off their heads to keep it’s pinchers locked thus keeping the wound closed… now they are the ants you have to get… just in case...

My 2 daughters say Rome was the most lawless place they visited. One of them was grabbed and her fingers were going to be tied together (then she would have had to pay a fee to get released though how they expect her to get money out of a purse with fingers tied I have no idea, but I digress). Frien...

Don't worry pilot, it is WW4 or WW5 by now, we have them regularly, at least once every 18 months. I was wondering if it was your birthday, saw a notice on rocky's site. Happy Birthday . Hope it was a good one for you and your family. I am trying to find a nice emoticon. I ask you-is this :99: or th...

I would agree with memor. Anyone who tortures animals is probably a risk around people too. They will most likely be callous. You were in the right, marra, when you told that man off. But I think it is wrong when human beings get killed for no reason, either. Torture, cruelty etc should make us mad ...
