Sless

Sless, were you just leaving the Mile or the Wouldhave at 4pm yesterday,
I was just going in the Wouldhave when I passed you, I would have said hello,
but I had someone with me who wanted to stay annonymous.

Being helpful.

I was having a pint in the Scotia last night, I was standing at the bar when I noticed a man and woman having a rather heated discussion, after a while the woman got up and moved to another table leaving the man sitting where he was. Now if I see a lady in distress I always try to help her, and bein...

Recycle!..not me.

Mrs Jake has been a bit unwell and we have been living in our cottage in the Lakes for the last few months while she gets better, I have been commuting from Keswick to my bus in South Shields, so I have not had any time to come on the boards. I have managed to get to the pub for my daily quota of be...

Sherri's school trip to South Shields

If Sherri arranged a trip for her pupils to South Shields, this is how I think it would go, The plane lands at Newcastle airport on a cold morning and Jakes bus is waiting for them, as they come out the building Sherri says, Hi Jake, " Will you get those kids on the bus quickly as I am in a hurry" s...

Re: cyber bullies!!

Unlike a lot of people on the boards, I have better things to do on a weekend than sit posting with a PC, but I wish I had seen this thread while it was "live" so to speak, What it shows is our self promoting local business man is a big headed fool, Who would give a monkeys if he left the boards, th...

Absent Members

Following on from the post by Bushmermaid about missing members, this got me thinking, you can add a few more names to the list, Cisco and Village Cat used to post quite a lot, not forgetting marrasis and marrabro. I must agree with what Mr-a had to say a while back, "most of the intelligent posters...

Thinking about Marra and his nightmares, I do not usually have them but last night I did, In my dream I was having a drink in the Scotia with Anna, Scrappy and Party Girl, we were chatting about a lot of things, Anna was still looking for a real man, but most real men are married and there are not m...

Marra, I see you are picking on the ladies again, trouble is the ones you try to pick on, Anna, Scrappy and Party Girl are very capable of sticking up for themselves, what worries me, after reading about your sad and pathetic dreams is, Can the future Mrs Marra look after herself? Have you ever pick...
