Love all these photos Sherri! The one of Abe's cousin, and the way the photo was put together like, it's fascinating! I have some photos I found to share. He looks so adorable. What a little angel. I pray he gets bigger and stronger and doesn't have any problems with lungs due to all the mishaps from that hospital in Bundaberg! keep us updated.

Re: Your best permanent employment

My last job as employee before I started a family, was at Cadbury Chocolates......I used to do data processing on the computer, watching hoards of sugar trucks going to the loading docks....so much sugar! But getting a pack of chocolates for us office workers to taste after it had been in transport ...

Re: Your best permanent employment

That's all so true about being self employed, sole trader, or having your own business etc in whatever form. It takes more responsibility and know how, and it is a learning curve. Just recently, well, a trend I noticed in the last 2 years which has effected my son's income as he is a self employed s...

Re: what was the scariest moment you have experienced

Probably, the most fearful moment, and realisation in disbelief, seeing a jet skier after being hauled onto the sand, with his father and paramedics working on him, to see him d*e. It made national news. Happened during the Australian WaterCross National Races in Queensland. We knew him, he was 22. ...

Re: What's the best thing that you have done that you didn't think you would enjoy?

Going to a Bali wedding in the great outdoors by the beach in the humidity. I was soooo not looking forward to it, and yet, the weather was mild, low humidity, the natives dancing on the beach was magical, and as soon as the son and his new bride cut the wedding cake, the surprise was spectacular fi...

Re: bad news in the family.

An update of how my friend's son is going. He had 2 operations within 24 hours. They are building his rib cage, something like that. Must have been crushed in at work, I think he works for the mines or wood logging. Heavily sedated, and has a long road ahead, but has survived. He became a new dad ju...

Re: THIS WEEKS 7 DAY CHALLENGE

Thanks Sherri, for choosing the challenge winner, I will be off grid for about a week, so basically, can't think of a particular moment I wanted the earth to swallow me up....but many instead of just one. Speaking of funny things happening when childbirth is near, I do recall the hubby phoning the h...

Re: Your next challenge

Thanks Sherri, I know how hectic things are for your at present, and for me also, life can be like that, which gave me the idea to share a lovely place to to to when one needs to unwind, in my local area, a place that is number one on the wedding venue, but also to go to on weekends for a meal and e...

BTW....Vancouver is a most beautiful place, starting with their airport.
Would like to go back and see more, as with a bus tour, one does not see as much as one would like to.

Re: 7 Day Worst Hotel/Motel that you have stayed in Challenge

Ummm, what was the name of the place we stayed at in Revelstoke Canada, can't remember, but, I called it "The Bates Motel"......there were 5 of the bus passengers that refused to stay there, and went elsewhere. It was rather run down, dark décore, shi*ty bathroom. Had an old smell about it, the whol...

Re: Places you have been that you won't go again

Umm, the one place that just didn't fit in with a splendid holiday feeling, was Revelstoke in Canada.
Creepy place, and everything shuts down early, and hard to find a shop that sells milk.
The pub had the worst meal ever, with a coleslaw that tasted like it was bitter and almost turned to wine.
