Re: The Royal wedding

Well that Reverend sure stole the show! Evangelistic style😂 was thinking at first how meaningful it was and then I start to cringe, went on too long and the message is lost. I get a phone text from daughter watching the wedding from the Gold Coast “is he ever going to stop!” 😂 we have been talking ...

I'm a bit disappointed no one has commented on the dress yet
You missed my post? I did say something about the dress. At least Ralph reads and quotes my posts :D

Re: Dogs in pushchairs

Must be something wrong with the dogs in pushchairs, as most dogs benefit from a good walk and exercise. Only time we put our dog, with a comfy pillow, on a wheelburrow, .....our dog was getting onto being 16 yrs of age, and had some creeping paralysis, so we used to push him around in a wheelburrow...

Re: The Royal wedding

I have been watching a few documentaries about Harry and Meghan with interest. And I must say, Harry has got ballz, to stand up for his fiancé, when the paparazzi were being quite nasty which brought Meghan to tears....and it worked, Harry told them to stop etc, I don't recall ever knowing or hearin...

Re: What you doing this weekend?

Going to pop over to the Phillipines next week, have a court date and do a little sightseeing, R and R, then Singapore, might find the skytrain driver at Changi airport. Looking at going to Singapore for first time, next year in mid winter. We are going with our son and his wife, had to fit it in w...

Re: One for you Bamboo!

They were excellent. The original Star Trek editing, so well done. I remember the talented aussie trio (Axis of Awesome), they reminded me of the Doug Anthony Allstars many years ago, the goofing around and joking, and then the awesome coming together with musicianship of guitars and singing. So cap...

Re: What you doing this weekend?

Good one Rosie! Lovely video. Miss you x Haven't been up there for quite some time now, spend more time going back and forth to the Gold Coast, as daughter has moved there now. I remember when I met your sister doing the Eumundi market on the Sunshine Coast a few years back. Must take daughter up to...

Re: Man or Beast, which is the Real Pest?

Yes, feral camels are now sought after for their milk, they call "liquid gold" as it has a lot of therapeutical benefits for us humans. As for donkeys, their milk is also good, as Cleopatra found out, it has properties that do benefit us....she used to have her servants milk 700 lactating donkeys a ...

Re: I'm going on a Cruise

I have booked 2 cruises, apart from the China holiday tour. The first cruise is in August on the Carnival Spirit (I like to do a different ship every time, as I buy ship fridge magnets). It was one of those amazing 72 hour deals, got to do a 8 night cruise in a cabin with Balcony for $690 each appro...

Re: What you doing this weekend?

Should be what have you 'done' this weekend, as I am a bit late for this topic! Saturday, I got up earlier than usual (about 6.30 am) and decided too early to do much, so I started sorting out paper work. Mid morning a bloke (via gumtree) came to buy a ride on mower without deck for $100. Did some w...

Re: Commonewealth Games

I thought the closing ceremony was so boring, couldn't stop yawning, and kept getting up to do some chores instead of relaxing and enjoying the big TV. It was more like a disco or something.....all that singing......and Peter Beattie, always stuffing up, always apologizing.....I was wondering what s...

Re: I'm going on a Cruise

Glad to hear the cruise went okay Rosie. I'm due for a cruise this year somewhere, maybe NZ or maybe European cruise.....have to decide, but want to go on it before end of year. Hoping to do a family cruise together, I said to the family, we don't have to be in each other's way, the ships are so big...

Re: Commonewealth Games

Just ask shairy she'll fill you in with photo bucket and their expensive fees and how free it is with Imgur, for a added bonus she might give a dna story. I might have mentioned it to you & gnads but you forget, danet is rarely on here any more & never saw earlier posts. And what's more, it worked....

Re: Commonewealth Games

Daughter has recently moved to live up on the Gold Coast, and she is being frugal, but still enjoying the atmosphere and hype of the games without going bust. She is going to see only a couple of events, such as the beach volley ball, and the artistic gymnastics. Just because she can. The rest can ...

Re: Commonewealth Games

That's odd, I saw it was posted okay last night too, now it's gone. I will look up Imgur today at some time Sherri, and try to upload the photo again. In the meantime, there are some amazing wins for Australia with Gold and Silver, and some records too, like the men's cycling last night. Just ask s...
