Oh howe I miss savaloys and stottie cakes. I get peaspudding in a tin from store but its just not the same.

I know what you mean about tourists. Blackpool, tourists and trying to get your shopping done in town does not mix!

Just wondering if anyone could tell me if the still do the parade with floats which used to end in Bents Park with loads of stalls. If so, when is it on?

This has just brought back memories. Anyone remeber Catch A Bus? It ran from town to Horsley Hill, down Centenary Ave to The Nook and I can't remember after that!

Oooo how I miss the geordie accent. Mind in the season down here you hear it more than any other. Am just getting used to the Lancashire accent now.

Do you remember a shop I think was called TG Allens in King Street?

Thoms at Laygate. Or was it Toms? It then turned into Pounstretchers when I was a kid. I remember going to the opening day and getting freebies. I'm not sure if the building is even still there
