Thats right Geordie, Vic had a sister called Vera and a brother called Dennis, lived in Bamburgh Ave. then later at the bottom of Marsden Lane, I think Vic now lives in Immingham or near that. I have not happy memories of Miss McGurk, as she made me keep running after I had stopped because of having the stitch..nasty pain in the side, and I know who was the pain in the backside!!!

All so true, we did have fun, and where kids moan about not having this and not having that, when they have so much, its untrue. We played on the Hills and Beach , ok granted, we were lucky in that respect.And we used to like to skip, guess the boys did kick a ball about.... As for tv? well I loved ...
