Also funding for the "Shopmobilty" scheme in 'Shields is being withdrawn which will hit the severely disabled who cannot afford mobility scooters. These people have no care or understanding of the lives of the vunerable.

He passed away last week suddenly.Chris was a diamond and will be sadly missed.He was in the police force but retired young because of ill health.We had some great nights out in our younger days and went to Sunderland matches home ...

Had many a sore back-side.He used to play a tune with the cane and took great pleasure in it.Does anyone know if Mr Galley is still alive? He was a real gent.

I lived at no.145 which was right next to Corbridge St, so no. 83 was near to Walpole St and opposite Lambert's general dealers.My mate Stevie Bell lived at no.81 during the 60's
