My mother was Christian Erby Harkus born in South Shields in 1914. Her parents were Anthony Harkus and Amelia Ramshaw Pierce and they married in about 1909. H S Edward Street

Anyone know anything about H S Edward Street? When did it disappear? I was born there in 1938 and that makes me ancient history. I now live in Sutherland in the north of Scotland.
