Can you use roller blades for playing roller derby? I'm quite interested in roller derby and I've been thinking of setting up a club for it in my school. The thing is, where I live, roller derby isnt popular so roller skates/quad skates/derby skates are not sold here and are very difficult to find....

Come to think of it the Latino wasn't that sophisticated, do you remember the raised stage and the dances where they stopped the music and said things like....anyone with a tie on take it off.......anyone with a jacket take it off.....if you refused you had to leave the stage till there was only on...

Bliddy hell, they brought back some memories Pete, the one
with Lizard Lane shops, the shops and flats behind haven't
changed that much really, the surrounding areas have though,
it's great to see some decent photos of Redwell, i've finally
been able to show me kids where I went to skool 8)

When I was there, from 1989 to about 1992 I think, I would say that thursdays and saturdays were more for the older crowd and couples, friday night was for the younger ones. Me personally, I used to play a lot of party music mixed with quite a bit of 60's and 70's on a thursday and saturday whereas ...

The lease ran out on it and the council wanted too much to renew it
so no-one bought it and it was demolished...... I think.
I was a DJ there for 3 years when Paul Hedley had it, I was there
from 1990 to 1993, good times :D

I used to go to those shops quite often when I stopped at
my nannas on Prince Edward. Used to play on the White
Horse Hills and in the quarry on my BMX.

a nice area and quite close to the town centre, just ask any
local estate agent and they'll know 8)
