I remember seeing John Miles ,(John Errington), in those days at the Boys Brigade dances in Westoe village. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I first saw him with the "New Atlanteans" and then "The Urge". He later went on to back Joe Cocker and Tina Turner.

I was in the 11th Company, Harton Methodist Church in Sunderland Road, Our Skipper was Mr. Green. Had some great times with the BB.
