Micky Riley was a good old family friend of the Scanlons, Micky lived for a time in William Street Hebburn, then he moved to Shakespeare Ave Hebburn. :) I love Shields, the shops, market the walk down to the parks or the beach, and my only wish is that folk, would not throw rubbish in streets....How many on site, can like me, remember a time when folk/shop-keepers kept their part of the area clean. If I had a time machine and camera, oohh!! I would go and take pics of when Ocean Road, and Fowler Street, buildings were going up.....And maybe take a good few photos of the shipyards and other industries in South Shields. cheers Rainbow

oooohhh!! I have been reading some old posts..... :oops: its been a good while since I was on site, so off soon to explore the new threads and topics. Each time I come on site, I think of my late Dad, would have loved all this technology....bless him he would read around four or five books a week. ...
