Re: Ireland Holidays

Great pics, Sless. Especially the one of the pint of Guinness :D I was never really a Guiness drinker until I went to Dublin with someone who was - and I got hooked! It's all I drink now. Apart from 'working' in Belfast, I've only been to Dublin and am looking at visiting Cork next. I was just read...

I went to this Chinese restaurant about 12 months ago and had never noticed it before. Not sure how long it was open before then, though.

I had heard John Fogerty had a falling out with his bandmates. I'm sure I read it in Classic Rock several months ago. My tinnitus is definately down to loud music but it could have been any number of bands. Maiden was by no means the loudest I've seen. That distinction would have to go to either Ven...

I've seen them a few times too Para and always come away impressed and slightly deafer (I can trace my tinnitus back to the time in the front row in the City Hall on the Powerslave tour). Most of the gig (the first hour and a half) was their new 'concept' album played in full. The album has a coupl...

You're not wrong Marassis. I got within a foot of them backstage and an outdoor event in Portsmouth about 3 or 4 years ago. I was quite looking forward to getting close to them    I was badly deflated - they have to be the most ugly, stick-thin, munchkin, I-love-me-who-do-you-love, ...

I'm a big fan of both. I have framed pics of both above me in my study now 8) However, for all I think Johnny Cash is awesome, you can't deny what Elvis achieved. I know what you say about the movies, but Elvis didn't have a choice. Col. Parker got him into the contracts. But......considering how ba...

Surely there are replacement therapies available on prescription (fre to registered addicts) to help them get off d*ugs altogether? But that's another matter. Can I please appeal to Board members not to sully the name of South Shields folk by making fun of these terrible events. Yes Curly, they can...

Vertigo was 1958 not the 60's Gazza. In future, if you're going to give out clues, make sure they're factual ones - please! :?

I was looking at it about 2 hours ago and sent a link to all my contacts. Within that time it's been deleted. It didn't really say much, nothing really to talk about. He had 7 friends and didn't give too much away about himself. Stated he was on My Space, looking for friends/serious relationship. He...

Great movie Sless! I went to see it the first night it opened and was very impressed. I'm a big Cash fan and thought Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon both did excellent jobs of playing Johnny Cash and June Carter.
