Early to mid 70's..... Mr Pippet....lovely fellow, dedicated to sport. Mr Clemence...sports teacher who also had to teach us maths at one time! Yes, to both of those questions. Filming took place at the General Hospital - on a unused ward and also outside the Diagnostic Centre, in the little semi-circular seating/shelter. I'm pretty sure both locations were used in different episodes. I didn't watch the series, but I do work at the hospital...
